Judith provides overall supervision and coordination for the Technical Leadership and Support Team (TLST) and works across the organization to ensure strategic integrity, program quality and technical excellence in program design and implementation. In this position, she also works to advance PCI’s strategic engagement including networking with current partners and potential new partners to increase and diversify PCI’s resource base.
Judith has more than 25 years of experience in maternal, newborn and child health; reproductive health and family planning; malaria; and HIV/AIDS working with governmental and non-governmental organizations in the US and abroad. She has managed USAID health portfolios and teams in, Côte d’Ivoire, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Kenya and served as a senior advisor overseeing a portfolio of more than $300 million in the Zambia PEPFAR Coordination Office. She was Regional Director of the Gates-funded Malaria Control and Elimination Partnership in Africa-Learning Community, based in Zambia; and directed USAID/Washington’s global Maternal & Neonatal Health Program.
Judith holds a Master of Arts in African Studies and a Master of Public Health from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University.
