Melissa Silverman is PCI’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications. She works closely with a creative team to tell the PCI story, leading efforts to design and implement PCI’s overall brand strategy. She manages advocacy, government relations, and policy activities for the organization as well as media strategy to engage key audiences and stakeholders.
Melissa is a strategic communications professional with more than a dozen years of experience in the government and non-profit sectors. She was previously appointed by the Obama Administration to lead communications at the Peace Corps and has served as a communications director and speechwriter to members of the U.S. House and Senate. She has worked on political campaigns at the national, state and local level and previously served in communications roles with the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and the Global Health Advocacy Incubator.
